Finally! Two Worlds (X360) 1000/1000

Well I’m one of those in the minority who actually enjoyed Two Worlds, like 8.5/10 enjoyed. I’m also one of those who had beaten it before it was patched, so the last two achievements had escaped me the first time around.

Seeing as how the sequel will/should/hopefully be released next month, I thought I’d slip back into the world of Antaloor for a refresher, and to take advantage of the patch to finish the game off. Forty-seven hours later those last 70 points were mine! The top half of the map I painstakingly mapped out every area, the bottom half I used the map that came with the Limited Edition and navigated to each location. The map was more or less accurate, similar to if it was hand-drawn 500 years ago, and there were only two discrepancies. An extra Maliel Shrine on the Coast and one location on the map that didn’t actually exist. Fortunately for me my thorough approach meant I didn’t have to backtrack to find anything I missed!

I haven’t beaten the game yet, though I had done most of the quests. Level 66 with my weapons and armour topped out at class 50. Here’s a couple interesting stats from the game:

I apologize for the poor quality. 3:30 in the morning, I was tired and just took a couple quick snaps with the camera. :P

There’s a special feeling of accomplishment when you get all of the achievements for a game. Like it validates the time you spent or the grinding & exploring. I’m not an achievement whore by any means but I do like seeing those 1000/1000s in my profile, few as they may be.

I am pounding through this again as well to get those last two achievements after the patch came out. I agree with you – I think the average review of this game did not give it justice. I will play through a great RPG two, three and many four times again, If it is bad – I will not even consider it. With the slight faults this game has (as all games do), this is a great game experience – one that has earned my time to get those extra achievement points.

Another fan here eagerly looking forward to TW2!! Great post!

There’s no real trick to it Jordan. You just have to explore the map and use the Two Worlds map either from the Collector’s Edition or found online as a downloadable image.

Then you explore each grid on the map locating each landmark and area one at a time including the ones underground. It took me 47 hours between leveling and exploring and nearly 600km worth of in-game walking to do it. :P
